What if someone is hurting you?

Abuse can be physical, emotional, or sexual. It can be really hard to tell someone if you are being abused because you may feel it is your fault or that you might get someone you love into trouble. It is NEVER okay for someone to hurt you and it is NEVER your fault. Never. Telling a trusted friend or adult, including your counselors, is the first step in getting help and being treated with the kindness and respect you need and deserve. Here is a link with more information about abuse, and numbers you can call to talk with someone or get help if you need it right away: ABUSE
